Falcone and Borsellino: a simple photo or a creative one?

The journalist Tony Gentile, who took the worldwide famous photo of the italian anti-mafia Judges Falcone and Borsellino while chatting, has warned all parties to not use the photo for propaganda. Even though the Court has, in the first instance, stated that the picture has to be considered a simple photo and is not therefore granted the 75 years post mortem protection of copyright (but only 20 years from the pubblication), Mr Gentile insists in its battle and asks also to the Roll of Journalists to join him and find a way to protect the work of journalists.
