The Republic of San Marino has recently filed its instrument of accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement on the international registration of industrial designs.
It has also issued a directive dated 11 March 2019 in which it confirmed that in order to simplify the procedures for registering industrial designs and models, the Patent and Trademark Office of San Marino will carry out a formal check of the applications for registrations filed and, in the absence of refusal and /or objections, it will proceed to publish the registration in the first useful bulletin.
