THE RESULTS OF THE RECENT ITALIAN LAW ON MADE IN: 46 MILIONS FAKE GOODS SEIZED

Nearly 46 millions of fake goods seized. This is the first result of four months of applying the new standards for the protection of the Made in Italy, which have allowed and facilitated the seizure by the Italian Guardia di Finanza of fake goods and the application of sanctions up to 250 thousands euros. From September, there was an increase of 46% of the arrested people, of 162% of the unsafe products seized, of 128% of the counterfeited fashion products and of 82% of the recovered property seized, as related to the business of fake. 23 millions pieces of fashion goods were recovered, as well as 2 millions pieces of electronics goods. More than 2 thousand toys and 17 millions consumer goods were also seized. This fact proves once again that it is really necessary to use the tools such as Customs Surveillance to protect products and brands.
