With a blitz carried out close to the "Marco Polo" Airport in Venice, on December 12 , 2009, the Italian Guardia di Finanza has discovered a new branch of the Chinese counterfeit business: the razors. Over 14 thousand seized razors, all unlawfully bearing Gillette trademark. The load was headed to be firstly warehoused in Naples and then distributed in Milan. This is yet another example of the importance of using tools such as Customs Surveillance to protect products and brands.
