On September 27, 2012, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office issued its first decision in relation to the “new” trademark opposition proceeding. Less than 24 months after Blufin S.p.A.'s “BLUMARINE” trademark filing in class 25, the Office accepted the opposition to all contested products in class 25 and totally rejected the Italian trademark “BLUEMARE”, owned by Mr. Liu Ruoai.
