Juventus FC has signed an exclusive agreement on image rights with Konami for PES 2020, a well-known opponent of FIFA, so the game created by EA Sports will not have the right to enjoy the Juventus license.
The FIFA developers had to provide a new team: Piemonte Calcio, which will take the place of Juventus.
The new Piemonte Calcio team will use different jerseys, while maintaining the colors; also the logo will have the same elements but modified, so as to recall the original Juventus logo. The players and their real gaming performance remain unchanged.
The controversy arising from the creation of Piemonte Calcio turns out to be an advertisement for the video game.
