After the negotiations that took place in Strasbourg last Monday between the EU Parliament, EUCouncil and EU Commission an agreement was foundon copyright reform.
Musicians, actors, writers, journalists, audiovisuals, will be entitled to have a remuneration from the giants of the web such as Google, Facebook or Youtube.
The agreement reached will have to be approved by the EU member states and by the European Parliament in plenary session by April.
The hope is now that the European Parliament will ratify the text as soon as possible in order to allow a fair exchange between those who produce and those who distribute.
