Confiscations in Rome, found 65,000 fake football team T-shirts

Over 65.000 counterfeited T-shirts of football teams were seized by officers of the Railway Police of Lazio at the end of an operation that led to the indiction of seven suspects. The investigators, near the Termini station in Rome, unveiled three storehouses where the goods were produced and stored ready for the market. According to the "Report on Community Customs Activities on Counterfeit and Piracy" of 2007, the phenomenon of clothing counterfeiting has four main players: - China, with the 60% of the total volume of counterfeit items; - Turkey with the 15%; - Bulgaria and Vietnam with 5%.
