Best Global Brand: the ranking of the best brands in 2020.

The Interbrand ranking highlights the global brands that have performed better in the context of a pandemic and its consequent economic impact.
From this ranking emerges an interesting change from the past. In particular, brands related to social media and media are growing. So Instagram, YouTube and Zoom entered in the ranking.
The top ten places were awarded to, in order: Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Mercedez-Benz, McDonald's and Disney.
It is important to emphasize that these 10 brands alone represent 50% of the total value of the 100 brands.
Zara and H&M in particular suffered from the effect of the pandemic with a negative impact on the business and therefore on the value of the brand, following the closure of numerous stores. The luxury sector also recorded a setback in 2020 with a decrease in value between 1-9%.
As for our country, Italy is represented by three brands: Gucci (place 32), Ferrari (place 79) and Prada (place 99).
