Apple and Nokia have signed a patent license agreement. The agreement put an end to legal proceedings which, since 2009, saw the two companies being in conflict in several countries of the world and having at issue several patents. Through the settlement agreement in question, Nokia has engaged itself to license to Apple a series of patents against payment by Apple of a lump sum in addition to royalties, which will be calculated pusuant to the agreement.
