The Unified Patent Court (UPC) Agreement has been signed by participating member States on 19 February 2013. The UPC will include a Court of First Instance, a Court of Appeal and a Registry. The Court of First Instance will have a central division in Paris, with sections in London and Munich, in addition to several local and regional divisions in the contracting Member States. The Court of Appeal will be in Luxembourg.
