Switzerland in pole position
According to the "Global Innovation Index" presented yesterday in Geneva by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Switzerland is the number one country in the world in terms of innovation for the eighth consecutive year.
The top ten countries in the ranking are almost all European. Switzerland precedes the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain and Singapore. Sixth the United States, which lost two positions, ahead of Finland, Denmark, Germany and Ireland.
In the second part of the ranking, China becomes part of the TOP 20, going from 22nd place in 2017 to 17th.
